So all this hooplah is because Hilton hotels registered their .mobi extension?
But then they just forwarded it to their .com site? Am I missing something here? I don't think it's time for mobi fans to break out the moonshine just yet.

I have never once traveled without knowing where I'm going to sleep before hand. But sounds like there are many that do.
As far as my sister on a webcam on a cellphone what kind of resolution and size are you expecting to get?

yes, you're missing that it is not forwarded to their normal .com site.
put your spectacles on and take a closer look..
it is forwarded to "a" .com site... not hilton.com
hmmmmmmm.. when i type in hilton.com it brings me to : http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/inde...F2VCQKIYFC3UUC
im thinking about writing this down and sticking it inside my wallet for the next time i visit hilton.com, so i can remember the real address... seems much easier, you know?![]()
OK, makes a little more sense now. Bust out that moonshine!
I always know where I am going and where I am staying. But I don't know the unforseen or the troubles unknown. Like traveling back from Philadelphia and have a tire blow out late at night in Virginia. Damn the luck, didn't have a laptop or PC with me.
Sure would have been nice if I had anything that could have directed me to a hotel, a tow service, or whatever. Had to call AAA and wait on the side of the interstate for more than an hour for the tow truck. Then had to ride in with the tow truck driver to find a hotel that was open or rooms available.
Had I had the capability, I could have used my cell phone and done a search on En-Route.mobi...this would have given me access to available hotels, I could have booked a room, called the tow truck, called a cab to meet me once the tow truck arrived, and possibly lined up something to eat or at least have inquired of the hotel about dining facilities nearby.
The moral of the story? Use en-route.mobi and boroughs.mobi now that you have them available to you.
Sorry for the shameless self promotion but I am excited about this site. Go ahead, use it...it won't hurt. Couple little minor things to work out...traffic report and logo change.

I bet I can use my navigation system way quicker than you can use en-route.mobi. Regardless, it's a reasonable point but I think people will ultimately be shocked at how little commerce is done by mobile devices over the next ten years. Even you are talking about the exception rather than the rule.Had I had the capability, I could have used my cell phone and done a search on En-Route.mobi...this would have given me access to available hotels, I could have booked a room, called the tow truck, called a cab to meet me once the tow truck arrived, and possibly lined up something to eat or at least have inquired of the hotel about dining facilities nearby.
I don't have a navigation system. I do know some can and do make calls. But now I do have a navigation system and directory at my disposal and it fits in my pocket...hotels, dinner, clubs, hookers, escort services, bail bondsman, lawyers...for all of you going to the domainfest.
I do like your site. I think it's an appropriate use of the .mobi extension. I hope it will be successful for you. May I suggest a drop-down box in the "search for" category? Would be nice to see a list of things you can search for, also, I don't know how to spell restauruant.
I'll pass that along to SeanBoy.
Success is all in the making.
I was getting ready to mail out several thousand postcards to hospitals across that nation for another site. Guess what I decided to include as an add on sticker?
Thanks for the compliments. And yes, it is appropriate for the mobi extension. Something I have been trying to convey for quite sometime. Regging names or words for the sake of regging is not the best way to approach this. The name should fit the extension.
"restauruant"...am I missing something here?
Why golly!!
Doc last nite I tried that there concoction and it surely went down smooth. The only problem be I sounded like a damn fool around Betty Sue, fumblin & mumblin with an IQ of 10 sayin Um Ok?, Um , Um Ok?,,,Um Ok? Boy, I was a Fearfull dumbass...all hat, no cattle and nuttin to say. Maybe, if that there mTLD released PickUpLines.mobi, it may have helped my mental jam.

I was saying, about your site, that without the drop-down box, you risk your visitors mispelling the terms they want to search for. Maybe the program is smart enough to catch it, I don't know."restauruant"...am I missing something here?
Gotcha...not sure how to capture errors. That's my SeanBoy's department. Or perhaps just enter FOOD. When I'm hungry, I'll find something to eat. Or go to the search bar and enter PIZZA, or STEAK. Very, very slick.
Son, quit messin with that local girl. Now that you gotcha a moby, go to that thar seach section and type in GIRLS and LORDY, LORDY lookie here...look at all dem site a comin up. Mercy sake, talk bout a southern moon risin...that ain't all that arisin.
Bout the only thang you won't find is where I hide my still.
Ain't that some good shine? Yessiree...Shine on you moby! HOT DAMN!

Tired of the same argument over and over and over...it's like a damn sieve with so many holes in it.
Time to mix things up a little bit.
