Excellent imho.
The actual term is texas hold 'em*- often Ovt juggles the order of wording, aswell as bunching together singular and plural.
So in this instance it's like saying 'insurance life' or 'racing horse' - IMO it doesn't work, sorry.

Unfortunatley it has a completely different meaning when you reverse the words. It won't get traffic. Even if it were a dotcom, I couldn't see any reason that it would have value. Sorry.
Andy, I think this is a good name.
No Traffic, no value?
Surely if developed, it builds it's own traffic? two keywords in the name, in whatever order, google finds them. Otherwise why do you get "texas holdem" results when you search for "holdem texas" and vice versa? Are you saying that if the search term is "holdem" (OT 14000), that "holdem texas" would get no results in google? Or "texas" even? Please debate, I am willing to learn.
I have a nice idea for development, initially just a flash game, but a workable script to follow. This will not just be parked to rely on traffic hits for ads.
Anyway I think that it will be worth more than it's regfee soon.

Yah, true, when you look for "holdem texas" you'll find almost 0 references. Maybe its memorable and brandable with the keywords, but its less that 1% the value of texasholdem.whatever
Guys, please. This is a classic example of a "contrived" domain name. You can't find what you want so you work and work until you think you've pounded a square peg into a round hole. Texas Holdem is obviously a very popular poker game. There is no such thing as holdem texas. At best that would be a town with a very strange name. And no, it's not "brandable".
I don't say this stuff to be mean or discouraging. I say this because the sooner you learn it the quicker you will be on the path of making the right moves instead of the wrong moves. Then you will have a chance to actually make a dime in this industry.
As some of you may know i'm def a pro mobi supporter! But this domain just isn't worth the effort. Keywords are ok but have to be in the right order! You just got to sit back and think, 'would i type this in, and have i ever typed this in to my keyboard???' Then your answer should be clear as crystal.

OK just for fun I typed "holdem" into google mobile web (on searchmob.mobi) and got 11,700 results for all types of names of sites. i.e. they use keywords, titles with texas holdem in. good SEO. If my site title was "Texas Hold'em", and I had descriptions with keywords in i.e. game rules, holdemtexas.mobi would appear in the listing somewhere. There are far more 'contrived' names out there than pure keywords, otherwise domains would be in short supply. At the least it is descriptive it may or may not attract punters, my main interest is in development so far. keep the comments coming, it is interesting, apart from valuation what the differences are.

Someone thinks holdemtexas.com is worthwhile and keeps it parked, so who knows in the future.
The consensus seems to be that its not a worthwhile name, but I wouldn't go throwing it away first chance. You never know.
The main thing though is that lots of people seem to be thinking in .com terms when choosing their names. There is no need to go to dashes or letter/number combo names at this point or wierd reverse name combinations!
There are still lots of decent names.
