.mobi WILL SURVIVE - LOVE IT OR HATE IT -

LOVE IT HATE IT , I SAY PROMOTE IT

MOBI'S ARE DEVELOPING AND LOOKING GOOD

I like the .mobi TLD.
Does everyone know who owns and financial sponsors and supports this TLD.

A couple of small companies.

Google , Microsoft , Nokia , Visa and many more.

Read the following wikipedia link , I found it very usefull to determine the success that the .mobi will have. Don't count .mobi out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.mobi

Here is a list of other small companies that have great .mobi sites.

BMW.mobi
Disney.mobi
Paramount.mobi
Yahoo.mobi
CNNMoney.mobi

Does anyone know of others.

Please list them.

This will help all of us with sales of our .mobi domains.
The more .mobi sites go up the better sales pitch we have to back it.
I use the above examples and it works every time.

These examples are all up and running , and they look good.

Let's get this Rolling

Wrong forum, this is not domain news. What you guys need to come to grips with, is all those .mobees you regged are crap. No amount of cheerleading will change that.

.mobiu will survive but missed the height of it's potential about 6-10 years ago when phone browsers had their own internet (HDML, WAP etc..). Most phones today with internet access can access the same pages that a computer can making a .mobi not worth it (plus the high price). A lot of companies are doing a great job with redirects.

Unless you have a premium name (or your business name) in a .mobi, I don't think it's worth it.

This can't seem to penetrate the thick skulls of mobee fanatics.

Survive? Ok maybe. Succeed? If surviving is success, then you're a big winner! Reminds me of my boy at the YMCA baseball games where even the losers were winners. Pulled his *** out and put him in a real league so he could learn that 2nd place, was the first loser! Mobi isn't even close to 2nd place.

heck, .tv has got way more exposure than .mobi...in my country, all the major channels advertise their .tv sites, but not a single .mobi

This just proves what a loser you are.

Strategically, the most important markets for mobile are China, India, EU and everywhere else, in that order!
