I'd say so. I think there just good marketers. I mean you would have to be selling domains at that price and still being in business.

Re: Network Solutions VP forecasts search engines will rank MOBIs higher than other t

So, what is needed? How will it be accessed.

    Wap.
    m.
    mobi.
    mobile.
    i.
    tinyurl.
    /mobi
    /mobile
    /wap

I'm sure I have left out about 30 more that I have seen used. So pick one and one only and mandate that every site use the same thing so I don't have to remember and my phone memory will not run out and I would not have to scroll through hundreds of saved favorites to find the site I want because they all resolve to a different address.

Then, when you have narrowed down how you want to acessa mobile site, don't forget you have to select one extension and one extension only to keep it simple in this global economy.

Everyone is in agreement that dot com is king, no argument here.

Now comes the daunting task of contacted the administrations of each of these extensions and telling them the extension and the access prefix or suffix to be used to utilize mobi. You will need to convince some that their extension is not needed and useless, is a money making scheme, and used solely for brand protection only. This list does contain some that are no defunct so that will make the task a little easier.

Good luck, you may need to get some help from the other forum members:

Doc, it's the first time ever that a DNF reply email notification ended up in my spam folder It must have been triggered by the country list you posted.

    Wow...

    Spam-O-Rama!

I took out a wikipedia reference being perhaps that was percieved as spam.

Doc, I think what most are saying is that ideally none of these would be needed. People would just type in the .com the same as they would on their PC and be directed to the appropriate version. I have a vested interest in mobi and want to see it succeed and as long as more corps like BofA start doing what they are doing i think it will succeed, useless or not.
