It would be big news if:

All the NFL teams had one.
You'd open up Sports Illustrated magazine and saw such print ads about .mobi
Took the subway and saw such ads at the stations.
Heard the sites on the radio and saw them on tv commercials.
It were promoted on team items.
Your best buddy while drunk on a sixpack of beer sang the .mobi song

First it was to be big news if any important entity used .mobi. Now that a bunch of important entities are using .mobi, the criteria for "big news" includes all the above. Of course, the NFL and MLB own many of their respective team names, like saints.mobi, marlins.mobi, packers.mobi, colts.mobi, etc.

As a matter of fact, colts.mobi is up an running! It redirects to a lengthy .com/mobile URL, so you better call the National Football League and tell them they're making a huge mistake! Tell them they don't know what they're doing branding in .mobi! Hurry, go tell them!
