The sig is funny. Just too many reported threads of .mobi bashing. Like I said in another thread, it's like a restaurant reviewer that hates chicken reviewing a chicken dish. It's gonna be a bad review.

I've actually given a couple premium .mobi's good reviews ($500+) so I'm not totally against .mobi. However, if its a horrible .mobi than I appraise it at what I think its worth.

If someone puts up Porn.mobi for appraisal I will certainly give it some positive words.

What is your "special protection"? What status afford you the ability to abuse this forum, attack members, cuss, swear, insult and carry on as you do... Completely without concern for correction?

Does the fact that you have thousands of posts shield you from being descent? Are you above "honest dissent". Can you not peacefully disagree?

Moderators... why do you allow this? Why would you kick an entire topic from a forum that is significant to the entire movement in order to protect one or two individuals that are KNOWINGLY violating the physical rules and intent of this forum... and laughing at you while they are doing it? Flaunting the fact that you can't and won't do anything about it?

.mobi is not the problem... attitudes like this guy's are. The idea that "they are above the rest of us" and that they have no obligation to the rules, kind respect of the Moderators or the patrons of this forum. They continually point out how much "better" they are than everyone else, berate and attack people without merit or cause and STOP people from using this forum.

When the moderators of this forum let it continue, unrestrained, they are not only hurting the respect of the forum and for their position, they are condoning this kind of behavior if not encouragind it.

Expect to see MORE of it when others see that it's okay and tolerated... even protected.

I'm done arguing with this guy... it's pointless... he's made it clear that he's arguing, insulting and attacking because he CAN and that the mods won't do anything about it. Even pointed out that the people he's attacking will be the ones to get banned.

He's a joke. Any respect for his accomplishments are far outweighed by his actions and statements. No credibility at all. Totally lost.

I just hope this forum, the mods and admins don't cut off their nose to spite their face.

Mods and admins respond to threads that are reported. If you hit the report a post buttin, it will be dealt with by a mod or admin.

I have a reputation, a history and multiple sources of feedback about my professionalism. You actually sat down and wrote a diatrebe just for me? I feel honored, even though it contains a lot of hatred and anger towards someone you don't know; and for your own good, that is.

Your isolated quotes fail to disclose the complete environment and circumstances in which the conversation took place; you saw and read the supportive comments - even verbal attacks - of established members that came to slap around a small group of neophytes to which you belong, who feel that we are obligated to sing along their self-proclaimed ruleset and continuous mockery (mjnels is an example).

Some things never change... Acroplex or should I say "TimeChange"... What were you before that? I can't seem to remember.

Folks, I wouldn't worry about "Acroplex/TimeChange/???" He has been banned on at least two occasions before. I think we allowed him back in when Adam took over as a sign of goodwill. He then got banned shortly after, but was let back in under under a amnesty program to attract members. He's harmless, but relentless, I'll give him that. The thing for the mods and Adam to take note of his his penchant for stirring up trouble... I'd say three strikes and your out...No refund on the membership.

Keep in mind, this forum won't last very long if members have to "argue" why they bought their names. Instead, I'm sure they'd rather be discussing how to capalize, etc on their investment. Given the fact, .mobi does have some major backing, has had some bigger sales. I wouldn't put this particular domain in the .eu/.in crowd. So in otherwords, it does deserve a little respect. Otherwise, as someone alluded to they will go elsewhere. Not a good thing for a forum, especially since it was created for .mobi domainers....(Just a guess, since it would be counter inuitive to create a forum for .mobi "haters")

If you recall, in the good old days of Dan running the forum, the 3 Amigos that now run Domainstate didn't like my smart ad banners either. But they were complaining for something that they never prohibited.

Couple of suggestions. I'd lose the trade name "Acroplex" given it sounds like some type of creme you'd use to soothe those hard to reach "itchy" areas if you catch my drift. I am being honest here, no jokes. Think about it... Ack-cro-plex--For those "hard to reach areas". You gave up Timechange.com for Acroplex!!!

The other suggestion is ease up on the 400x800 multi-layer designs at the top of your websites. This says you are still developing websites like it's 2004. The person's staring at you is a big turn off, and is over done on way too many sites.

Lastly, I'd change your name again given my 1st suggestion, and due to the fact, no one...and I do mean no one serious in the webdesign business..uses their "Whatever.com" name as their forum persona. Serious webdesigners (in today's market) will generally use their first name, last initial... THEN put their "Whatever.com" in their sig. Kind of a stylistic suggestion, but one that needs to be made...
