Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I've said all along it will take development and public promotion of .mobi websites to make the extension succeed. In my local paper business section the headline was "Whitewater goes mobi". In the article, three .mobi sites are listed along with a write up on how it's great to be able to get mobile info on the ski hills.
This gets the .mobi extension in front of the public's eyeballs, and that's what it's all about.

I like the simple fact that local businesses are using .mobi domains for their mobile presence. They could have used their .com, or a .net, or a .ca, but they are choosing .mobi for mobile. One of these sites won a Canadian travel website award, I believe.
The public is seeing these .mobi's and that will help the extension get more popular.
