Yep, double edged sword.

On the one hand, is fantastic news for .mobi as 8 million read the sun & is most popular 'paper' in UK
The sun seem to have more tv ads than other papers too, so only a matter of time imo before mobi is mentioned in their ads

The downside is the fact that 'the sun' has 8 million 'readers'
Personally i wouldn't wipe my arse on a copy. It's a joke

I totally agree, I don't rate thesun either. However, the fact is the average person in the UK loves it (all the BS and humor and not forgetting 'page 3'

) & this is great tool to Expose .mobi in a massive way to the wider population

The way I see it, its a good exposure to your average builder, plumber etc.

A move forward, by all means

No good for a high brow read, but i guess pics, ringtones, gossip, celebs.. thats what they're thinking. Also, for those viewing, rather than paying through the nose to get things texted through , pics etc, they can visit the mobi site

Think of it this way - 8 million readers start to search for their porn on mobi sites (at least some of 'em)....
