The future looks better than it did in September imo.
I picked up a Nokia n73 at landrush and seems to make sense to tap in google.mobi rather than google.com etc.
Therefore I am changing my mind yet again:
buy .mobi premium only.

I agree even if the manufacturers did make it a default there's nothing any court could do. If thats the case Firefox and all the other browsers have some real legal issues. I have to admit it annoys the crap out of me when I type in goo and drop down to select google.com but for some reason it doesn't work and I end up at some other "goo." The point is if you actually type in "whatever.ext" you will go there but if you type in "whatever" then you'll go whereever the browser wants to send you.
