The What is your LIVE dot mobi site Thread?

    Hi Everyone

Yes it is important for those handful of us among 6 billion people on Earth who are exclusive dot mobi domain name owners to put out projects on the web. Now, with viral marketing, and the combination of being a first-mover .mobi, a viable site can spread fast and then spread awareness of .mobi towards the mainstream more; which increases the value of our dot mobi investments exponentially as a commodity to the main stream pie.

So, as we move forward with the pioneer dot mobi era, what are some of the projects/websites dot mobi that you have out there now that you would like to announce here?

Promotion among us in the trenches goes a long way, friends We are lucky to have found this dot mobi relatively first.

    Thanks be to God

I would say getting a good investment on mobi's will be selling them to the end users like big companies, public.

Good idea...i am going to develop a few next myself!

Have you had a look at flowers.mobi lately? as it is now developed!

Wonder if we could get the .mobi registry to put up something at each of the 5,500 odd premium names that they held back...as currently they go no where, and even a link to the .mobi whois site would be better than nothing.

    What do you think?

    Very good idea 9888!

    I have:

    http://www.StartSearch.mobi - Find all the developed .mobi's!

which I created a couple of weeks ago. The traffic was very very low, so I stopped with it. Maybe this thread will reanimate this website...

send an e-mail to: request@StartSearch.mobi to get listed.

Webcri, stick a .html extension on your files or something. It's not viewable.

Has anyone actually tried using it?

Site loads up - I click on 'order flowers online' , some paid listings show up - I choose interflora.co.uk as I know they are a respected brand.

    The page reloads ?!

You are right, there is a problem with the add feed it seems, i tried flowers.mobi on the phone and the web, and each time the add just reloaded and did not take me to the advertiser. (by the way i am looking to buy some flowers!)

Webcri your startsearch.mobi works fine on my phone.

Re: The What is your LIVE dot mobi site Thread?

I have had a mobile website for 4 years called Mopile.com (not live) and then got the following developed:

    - mixi.mobi (English and Japanese portal)
    - uta.mobi (Japanese Music links) means "music" in Japanese
    - Jasdaq.mobi (Japanese financial)
    - Watashi.mobi (Japanese beauty portal) = means "I" for females
    - Vegas-Casino.mobi (Japanese gamble site)

And currently working on the following:
    - Setagaya.mobi (city portal for a city in Tokyo)
    - Sancha.mobi (city portal for a city in Tokyo)
    - K-pop.mobi (korean Pop music portal)
    - Doko.mobi (Area Search for Japan) means "where" in Japanese
    - Attacker.mobi (mobile spyware security)
    - Otenki.mobi (weather service) means "weather" in Japanese
    - Iku.mobi (events around Japan) means "go/lets go" in Japanese
    - 321.mobi (this is a secret and my deadliest weapon)

most of the sites use chtml since this is the normal format for Japan. Soon we will be able to view xhtml on all phones. anyways, chtml is more diverse than xhtml at this point. We in no way have any use for wap and when viewing wap from our phones, we see all headings before we see the content. I got confirmation from mtld that i can make these sites chtml for the time being.

Re: The What is your LIVE dot mobi site Thread?

    Wow Great Work Mobile Designer!

I think this thread is valuable, it's not about advertising spam, it's about being a first mover Dot Mobi.. developing sites for the good of all.. and utilizing this great, close to the mainstream, domainer forum to find business associates with our projects. The users of the forum make this forum..

In the mid 90's I was captivated by the chat, IRC effnet. A group called "Yahoo" was listing site projects. I was on to the right thing, the Internet, but my fellow comrades did not join together in a project .. and thus we didn't even "try out" to be one of those successful DotCom millionaires.

Things are different this time around, as I appreciate this forum as a venue for outreach networking.. Many "guests" I see here at the bottom of the screen read these posts; and, the people who post here in this DotMobi vessel have the opportunity to share the moments (and a future) in this historic enclave.

    Kind Regards,

    WorldRadio.mobi
