I sent him an offer of a 3 letters .net for $1k, he said he is "pretty interested", then I ask him to pay by escrow service, then he say bye bye!

The good thing is the name has not been pushed yet.
Please be careful with unknown parties regardless of member status - there is no rush to push the name (It takes days to complete the transaction from auction sites) and use escrow if possible.
If you smell something is fishy then it may be fishy and not doggy!
