A domain was offered as compensation for this deal which was a huge step in the right direction. Unfortunately the domain used to be a website so I declined the offer in fear that the traffic would subside as the domain aged.

Since then my emails have gone ignored for many weeks. Still nothing from either of the aliases.

The only thing in your favor is the fact that those fraudsters scammed Steen in some measure. And that happens more in the western world than you can skim "Civilized" from an affluent pantry.

the day after i had it transfer, the traffic dropped. and so did the clicks.

Calling you a "friend" is sarcasm Amigo, just like the sarcasm you keep posting upon newbies all the time. I don't have retirement minutes like you do to while my time posting away on this board.

The next time you get shuffled, I am sure it won't be from Mumbai. So, it would be nice if you can warn folks on this forum about the next "city" that milked your Brit pounds. Since I'd like to believe you may have learned your lesson, it may not happen anytime soon.

By the way Brits did steal from India and and tens of other countries of their resources and killed thousands upon thousands in the process. The British empire shuffle lasted for decades. You don't have to feel bad about it. It is just a matter of fact.

Youe warning comments singling out "Mumbai" has no merit. In fact I have and will continue to do business with Mumbai folks to prove that a scam can happen in any city and that won't stop me from doing genuine business with decent and ethical folks.

Making a stupendous statement like this sounds very Strange, and that too when it comes from a PRO member..

As per year 2007 UN Report, Mumbai is world's most densely populated city with population of nearly 20 million. You were probably scammed by one odd person from Mumbai and still not even sure about the actual location cuz all you did was relied on the Who Is information.

Statements like these portray as if every Mumbai resident is a scammer or fraudster for that matter . What if one was to make a Chauvinist statement like this "Brits are actually living off of the wealth they plundered from around the globe in early 1900" (its just an example, so please dont quote me on it).

Bottom line: It did offend me when he concluded in his statement that whole City is Fraudulent or full of Scammers, even though I am not from Mumbai.

Exactly one doesnt have to be racist, but categorizing Mumbai as Fraudulent in whole is not very sensible statement to be made when this Forum caters to the domainers from all over the world.

I'm sorry I dont have that many posts under my belt, but I sure do have trader rating touching 100 odd transactions at other reputed forums (Namepros to be one) and experience of how to trade and process related to it..

The Brits transferred home $1bn of Indian natural resources per year for 100 years. But they were no different to the Moghuls, Dutch, Portuguese, and French. The only difference is they were better organised and more enterprising. The Indians were disorganised and fought amongst themselves. The same thing happened to the original Britons under the rule of Vikings, Saxons, and Romans. Same sh&%, different day. Should Brits be holding a grudge against Denmark, Germany and Italy?

Correct me if I am wrong - There is no such thing as the original Britons. Unlike the Aryans, the British land was an amalgamation of local populace + foreign invaders.

No one should hold a grudge. Just acknowledge history. Yes, the Indians fought each other in their principalities, but the wealth remained within their lands. I think the British people are one of the smartest set of humans ever. They looted (back in time) but also gave so much in return (forcibly though) by way of language and culture. If not for them, where else would a 10 year old like me learn about Keats, Wordsworth and Longfellow.

But, present day Britain is not smart as their forefathers were. There are more people attending prayer services in their Mosques on a Friday than those Anglicans attending their churches all week long.

Britain unlike America is not supposed to be a melting pot. If that nation does not undercut this risk, it will lose its identity. And that dangerous process of loss is in full swing.

That tiny nation, which once rules the world is being invaded to its core. I feel for it. And the once cunning Englishman is asleep at the wheel.

The loss will be irreparable. Those who are responsible, better wake up and stop appeasing the foreigners.

As an Irish person I have inherited many bad emotions about British involvement (to put it mildly) in our history but, as someone whose great-great-grandmother was British I would like to say how much I admire you for that apology, Dale.
