DNF$: 10 Location: dont.net | Seller: James2002 backed out of the committed deal!! Seller: James2002 backed out of the committed deal !! I don't know his Chinese name so we will have to go with his fake name for now.. After finalizing a deal with him for his asking price of $10k, we confirmed it with a client as well so that we can take next step of securing a payment & everything, and in the meantime he backed out of the deal saying he is getting more money & has finalized a deal at $14k. I would have to salute his courage & guts, because his response was kind of amazing when I call him on his phone# +44-7894082526, to my further negotiation on trying to get a resolution to this dispute. This is what he had to say word by word, to my effort "You are Indian, that's why upset about this deal!! Ask your client to contact me and I will explain him everything". I warned him that I will be roping in moderators plus forum members about this deal gone sour and he had balls to say: "you can do whatever you want cuz I DONT CARE!!" and hungup on me... ---This is how it all started--- He contacted me with a domain name: xxxxxxx.com and asked for offer in 5 figures. I made him several low to mid $xxxx offers but he rejected them completely seeking for more. I sent him another message: My message to James, I Quote:

Does this mean other DNF members are like this as well, and DNF should get used to members like him backing out of the deal??? Here is the Forum rule that re-iterates something : 8. Complete your sales! If a member posts "sold" or PM's that he/she will buy your domain, website, service, etc., please attempt to complete the sale in a timely manner. This goes for both parties, please make yourself available to complete the sale as soon as possible. In addition, your word is your bond. If you agree to a deal, you shouldn't back out - even if you receive a higher offer (sellers) or if you think you offered too much (buyers). Do the right thing and the right thing will eventually return to you.

Country: | My offer of $10,000 was rejected by him offering $8000 and therefore my offer was no more valid. He was just BLACKMAILING ME saying "sell this domain" or will post in public . I said WAIT FOR MODERATORS REPSONSE BUT HE WAS NOT AGREEABLE AND THREATEN again and again. I fed up with this and said " do whatever you like I don't care" because it is waste of time to explain a blackmailer who refused to wait for the mod's intervention.

It is not good character to do blackmailing like this and refusing to wait for MOD's response. Mod's response was as follows: Quote:

Country: | No. I was busy with my out patient and when I say $8000, I got angry with him as he overlooked what I mentioned in my previous email and therefore repeated what I said in previous PM . That's all.

Country: | For the most crucial pint of the story is timing. At what time/date did you ( loudbeats.com ) reply sold at $10k and did his higher offer come after that? Now if you replied AFTER he accepted the better offer... While he could have informed you it was first come first serve I do not think less of him for taking an offer before hearing back from you again. Here is why, what if you never replied? Leaving things open ended is VERY dangerous and can lead to issues, that is why his 24HR time frame would have been best, just extend it to more as a buyer if you can and lock up a time frame, like real estate. |

DNF$: 10 Location: dont.net | Something notable that I observed, his Namepros profile is canned for being a repeat offender: link

Country: | Sorry. Mistyped. When I saw his offer of $8000, I got a bit irritable and repeated what I said in my previous PM to make him aware that he should not send offer of 8000 to me as I made it clear. From that point onwards, I thought he was one of the time wasters and I negotiated with other party and got a deal. Deals fell through all the times. Check my threads, I never made public when sales fell through. It is not a good practice. I bought a website called www.triphp.com which I paid low xxxx. The seller then sold the database to someone else. I only sent a few emails and I gave up and I even not mentioned his name in dnforum etc... as it would be waste of time for me to do such things. I really don't see the point. I rather focus on domaining and my job. Now I have wasted time for this.

I went to BIGGEDON, and then to JOHNN about it, seeking their opinion (since he is claiming I didnt wait for moderators to intervene) and they suggested me that these are available options to me, so I decided to open this thread for fair trial.. and to let everyone know how this person deals!

Country: | I hate to break the news to you both but either you work it out or you let it go. Without a written contract - heck, even with a written contract - there is little to be done. There is a lot of damage to be sustained from this exchange and not a whole lot of positive outcome. If money had changed hands things would have been different.

Country: | there was another deal he said. you have no one to blame but yourself for dancing around with your offers. he said 10k from the start and you pushed the limits. you lost out when another buyer was interested and coughed up the cash before you by the sounds of it. thew chance we ALL take when trying to save a buck or several grand. a deal isnt a deal until both parties are agreed it is sold and finalized. my 2 cents. |

Country: | All I'm saying is both of you should step back, have some quiet time and try to resolve it in private; if not, you'll be exchanging "air punches" in public. Not good.

Never do that. I was banned because: 1) I mentioned a domain in a reply in a thread and the MOD banned for few days. 2) I created a ticket to get to reopened and the MOD agreed to open it . But I mentioned about how I got benefit from the dnforum which I prefer etc... After that the MOD banned me forever. I don't want to mention the MOD name. That's what happened. Basically I was banned becaused I spoke my mind.

I also tried offering him $11k.. so that this could finish & we could have a resolution but he wouldn't budge from 14k..

Country: | Then settle it by apologizing to eachother and working on some future deal. Opportunities return when both parties end the fighting. Sorry Jay, not taking sides here but I see the pure negative energy wasting down some future goodness ![]()

I advised to solve this through moderators and not to make public. But he didn't agree and start this thread. If I have to start such threads , I would have to start multiple threads when the sellers fail to keep promises and I would also have wasted many hours of my valuable time. I hate this kind of threads and don't actually see the point. Just waste of time.

You said "sell me the domain or I would make it public". It is simply blackmailing. I advised to wait for mod's responses but you got so upset and would not wait. My apologies if my words hurt you. Sorry.
