Country: | Ok just got done reading through most of this (don't have the time to read it all, have to study for a calculus test in the morning). I don't remember buying any names from '9mm' and just checked my TR on namepros and didn't see his name anywhere. I think the only way I'm tied into this is that I bought some LLLL.com's from dnou who had originally bought them from 9mm. Not sure if they were stolen or what not but don't believe dnou did anything wrong. I bought the names via this topic at namepros: http://www.namepros.com/domains-for-...light=hjxe.com
I believe I bought the last 17 and paid with paypal. I have resold some of these names at tdnam and most of them to the same buyer who seems legit as far as I know. I'd be willing to give out the buyers info if there is any evidence that points to him. Otherwise I prefer not to get him involved since he didn't do anything wrong. Quote:

So dnou is potentially not involved if he can confirm selling them to Ali and 9MM. If we see those names for sale again though it IS 9MM and his partner.
What I know on Ali/Plano is he has a name LLL .net that went from 9MM to him recently , bought up a bunch of LLLL's, is located where 9MM says he has a partner. So it is wrong place wrong time or he is connected to 9MM. Not 100% on this yet. The David Williams name is funny though and may or may not be a mask. |
The only LLL.net I have is one that I bought via sedo.com and I can prove that if necessary. I did buy a bunch of LLLL.com's but so did many others. Quote:
Originally Posted by TheLegendaryJP My only connect for sure is he has to say he bought several LLLL off dnou . dnou's connection is buying from 9MM . There is also inconsistent whois and to be frank is the reason for alert, why do people do this ?
Maybe Dnou can say HOW he paid 9MM ! and Planoali how he paid dnou ? | Where is there inconsistent whois? I'm pretty sure all mine are correct, not sure which names your talking about. Also I'm pretty sure I paid via paypal to dnou. Quote:
Originally Posted by TheLegendaryJP Ya, I am sitting here thinking, if dnou is 110% innocent that means Ali would be as well. There are still things I find curious, like him being where 9MM said he had a partner. He only joined np's in June 07 apart from trades its still just 9 months . He bought all his LLLL from a guy who dealt with 9MM that uses inconsistent whois. Alot fo hhhmmm factors but maybe I am wrong. The David Williams thing is very weird though. This guy has partners, 16 or not he is alot of places. | I didn't buy all my LLLL.com's from dnou. In fact only a VERY small percentage of my LLLL.com's came from him. So 9mm has a partner in plano, texas? It's not that small of a town (69th biggest in US). I'm really confused here.
I haven't done anything wrong and don't even believe I have ever dealt with 9mm. I'm willing to provide whatever info I may have although I don't think I have any info that may help since I never dealt with '9mm'.
Also a big thanks to Eg.Domains and pcpro for alerting me about this topic. |

| Ali, I believe that you were just an innocent victim of circumstance in this and that you in fact have not done anything wrong.
At this time, I don't see the true connection between 9MM and Plano at this time. His reach was broad, but now it seems to have shrivveled up - at least for the moment.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that he is still reading these postings - obviously under a different SN.
I appreciate you taking the time to check your transaction info as well.

DNF$: 583 Location: Yellowknife Canada | In JP's post from alecp, alecp mentions he sold frikkle.com to 9mm.
Well, just noticed there is a frikkle (profile says 16 years old - sound familiar?) lurking on this thread right now ... |

Hello.
I stumbled across the following thread: http://www.dnforum.com/post465-post-1401685.html
I am indeed a domainer, and I am indeed 16 years old, however, I am not at all affiliated with Patrick Norman or 9MM.
I have, however, sold and traded domain names to Patrick.
I believe I initially bought VDYZ.com and UWKZ.com from him while he was a member of NamePros, and I later made the following deal with him on DigitalPoint: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=652767
In this, I traded several of my 4 letter .com domains and 3 letter .in domains (plus a miscellany of other domains) to him in return for a ccc.com: j8l.com
There are a few other domains I traded to him for the ccc.com that are not listed, such as ifpy.com, yhhi.com, frikkle.com, and pastetext.com (Those are the first few that come to mind; I can check if there are others.)
It appears that he has not bothered to update the WHOIS information since the trades; I have not really bothered to check, nor have I been in contact with him to tell him to update the WHOIS information. What the new owner of any domain does is not really my business nor my responsibility. The above paragraph is why it looked like Alec owned names that belonged to 9MM
Best Regards,
Alec | |

I know. What needs to happen now is a clamp down on everyones business practices. ALOT of losey goosey stuff I see going on. Not with bad intentions but no due diligence and accepting very odd requests in order to obtain domains. |

The circle seems to be closing in on him... and it's closing faster than he would like |

Oh, wait, she already is.
We still have time to help fix the industry. It will never be 100% but things like what is going on in this thread will help.
