FYI I have to say that, as I am a native speaker, Turkish doesn't contain such a word. We call it "yetişkin" instead. Ü is in our alphabet but there is no such a word.

I have seen it on many turkish websites, for example:
http://www.eticur.de/projekt01/index...side=39&lang=3
http://members.tripod.com/~Radonk/Beyint.htm
So it must somehow exist?

These 2 sites are medical sites. One of them is about stem cells and other one is about nervous system neoplasms. This word is a deformed english word, and I can guarantee that, nobody uses it in daily language or in medical terminology. They just tried to create a new word.
Also if you search for "Adült Beyin Tümörleri" (which means adult cerebral neoplasms) and "Yetişkin Beyin Tümörleri" (which has the same meaning) in Google, you'll see that for the first query there are 1k+ results but for the second query you will see 54k+ results.
I just want to inform you and potential-buyers as a native speaker, it is not a generic IDN in Turkish or not the equivalent word for adult in Turkish. If there are any other Turkish members of DNForum, please confirm.
It is brandable or can be developed as an adult site.

Ok, of course I believe you as a native speaker.
I just hope it can be useful in some way anyhow.
thank you for putting some light on this.

Dorian, I think Vinternatt is correct on this issue. We have some English words that we use on our daily lives. But this one, never heard and never used.
Just my 2 cents![]()
