Regarding copyrighted material, is it OK to post someone else's food recipe (word for word) if I give them credit for it? Is this is still considered plagarism? For school essays, for instance, this would not be considered plagarism, as along as it's in quotes and credit is given. Does anyone know if this is true in the internet world?
It will be best to ask the owner of the recipe beforehand.
Thanks for the advice copper. Do you think they would sue me if I used their work and gave them credit? I would like to be able to post food recipes on my website.
they would probably ask for a thick slice of the profits.
It's okay to take parts of an original work and quote them and give credit. If you want to take a 'whole' copyrighted work, you will need permission.
why not just change the order of recipe ingredients ? it wont change the end result huh
and no longer a copyrights
