Country: | How to get rights to news story photos? I'm interested in finding out how to get the one-time usage rights to a photo in a news story, usually the AP, reuters, etc. It would be for a blog that would very often require this. I see some sites just "borrow" the photo, but that will only work while you are flying under the radar. I once contacted AP for a photo a long time ago and it was very expensive. There must be some sort of clearinghouse for photos like this. Anyone have any idea? |

Country: | if your business model permits, contact the ap direct. they usually show the fees online. You can log in after you have paid for member access, and after you buy the image you get a usage and a download credit. e.g., wireimage.com
