Looking to start a new site. Need content. Where to begin?

I am looking to begin development on a domain I have that is Auto Performance related and stands a chance to become a very powerful site.

I would be looking to add content articles and such but not sure where to start if someone could recommend some sources that would be great.

Domain would be: RearWheelHorsepower dot com

Would be very performance oriented. Eventually some affiliate partnerships and possibly a forum and classifieds.

You could try hiring a freelancer to write for you. Try getafreelancer.com so far there's a lot of writers there, but be careful on hiring someone since some only pretends to know how to write well but couldn't even get a simple word correctly spelled.

Can anyone recommend someone. I am receiving PM's and emails from everyone self electing themselves as the best writer on the internet, forum, or some the planet. Would rather have a referral from someone with good experience.

<p>why not call them out then. i will not hold back from telling everyone my experiences good or bad. i will make sure anyones screws me they will lose more than they took and if done great work i will be sure to recommend and get them more money than i spent. everyone feels the need to keep bad business a secret. that is how the next person gets screwed</p>

One thing I'm starting is an ad revenue sharing program for writers who add useful and interesting content to a tech blog.

Here's the information I show potential writers on the site and I created a downloadable quick guide to the whole process.

Fresh content is the most difficult thing I'm finding. Plus the stuff has to be interesting. A load of stuff (content) coming from one person, probably isn't going to be that interesting (like only listening to your favorite musician would get boring... unless it's Britney, she never gets boring). So having a few different authors can help a lot.
