Professional SEO Copywriting Firms vs. Freelancers

Hi,

I am looking to develop a few domains I have into information sites, and I was curious if anyone here had any experience with the professionl SEO firms that charge $75-150 per page for optimized content ( e.g. InfoSearch Media), and wether they are any (or even much) better than qualfied writers that can be found on Elance and other places for much less money, sometimes as low as $10 per article.

I appeciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Mark

These firms charge way too much. I have worked for SEO firms and it's unbelievable how little they pay the people who write the stuff versus what they charge. Just hire a content writer. You can always seed in your own extra keywords and save 80% of the money, yeesh.

On-page optimization is very easy to learn and apply. Unless the SEO firm is going to constantly analyze and tweak the pages over a set time, I would not waste the money on them.

Save the funds to pay someone to do to the arduous off-page work.
