Looking for recommendations on link building services.

I am looking for current information on backlink services and I am finding it impossible to trust any "reviews" of these services because they nearly all contain affiliate links to the services they are recommending, so I am hoping for some unbiased views on services such as:

Build My Rank
NeuroLinker
3 way links
1 way links
Others???

I have a few hundred domains on which I would like to increase relevant backlinks. Build My Rank appears that it might be the best option currently, although it will take some time commitment to write articles and is a little high to cover all or my best producing domains. I don't really want blast out hundreds or thousands of new backlinks per domain, I am looking for just an incremental approach that I can roll out at a steady logical pace. Any unbiased advice on link building services that actually work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
