So no, you wouldn't be able to put Google Ads on your site due to their content guidelines.Sites with Google ads may not include or link to:
* Pornography, adult or mature content
* Violent content
* Content related to racial intolerance or advocacy against any individual, group or organisation
* Excessive profanity
* Hacking/cracking content
* Gambling or casino-related content
* Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia content
* Sales of beer or hard alcohol
* Sales of tobacco or tobacco-related products
* Sales of prescription drugs
* Sales of weapons or ammunition (e.g. firearms, firearm components, fighting knives, stun guns)
* Sales of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods
* Sales or distribution of coursework or student essays
* Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites or reading emails
* Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others
As for your Hosting question - it'll depend on the type of content (information on cannibis would be fine, promoting it wouldn't be) and the contracts (TOS, AUP) you agreed to with your host when you signed up to them.
You'd have to ask your host.It'd vary per host.
Your best bet to get some real answers are either:
1) Ask a lawyer
2) Ask some of the more open members about this on what they do with their related sites.
Chris - your location is Detroit which means you are under US and Michigan laws. I'm sure your registrar is based in the US which means you're under US law but I'm not sure how hosts handle state laws. This would also include any .com, .net, .org, .info, and .us domains (all their registries are in the USA).

if you have put this 420 related stuff, I wondered your adsense account must be banned now.
