| Platinum Lifetime Member | I have a domain image _ chief dot com (without the underscore which gets traffic i believe when people (teenagers?) are looking for image _ chef dot com.I have the domain parked with Sedo, and in the last 32 days it has received 9k visitors, and made €8.92 ... I dont think that many visitors is worth that little so i would like to consider another possible way of monetizing it or possibly even develop it into something (which wont require too much time). If anyone has ideas / experience on image-related traffic it would be much appreciated. If anyone has an idea for a development of the site (e.g. sthing like image _chef ) I'd be interested in a joint venture of some sort too. cheers, gvanto |

Country: | try signing up with CPA networks like affiliate.com or neverblue.com and forward this traffic to CPA offers that you think might interest your visitors. You might make more money this way than with parking. Also, sedo is propably not the best parking solution out there for you. Try Parked.com, namedrive.com and domainsponsor.com

| Platinum Lifetime Member | Thanks petrosc, What I was wondering with these programs is: can I a) just forward the traffic to the affiliate link or b) does it have to be an ad on the page of the site? If its the latter I'm not sure what content to put on there, i guess some crap about images lol gvanto Quote:

Country: | there are advertisers that allow this, and others that don't. Just check their terms before you forward traffic. I have found however that instead of forwarding them directly to the advertiser is less efficient because the visitors are shocked - they expect to enter the image site and they end up on a ringtones offer or whatever. It is better to forward traffic to a landing page that you made, and try to get them to click on the link that will transfer them to the CPA offer. They will be more willing to perform the action the advertiser wants (give him their email, or fill out a form etc)

Country: | Just as an aside - don't believe Sedo traffic stats! I have had huge discrepancies between their figures and those from other analytics programs. You may be chasing after nothing... |
