Question Other revenue options

Doing ok with adsense. However, anyone have experience good or bad with text links, auction ads (ebay) or Adbrite?

I'm not a big fan of any of those options, especially for less experienced webmasters. If you're willing to put in some effort and target your visitors, I think learning how to use affiliate offers would be best.

If you are doing "ok" with Adsense, try Yahoo!. Your success in using auction ads and text links largely depend on the volume and type of traffic your domain is receiving.

Last I checked yahoo publisher was only open to Americans and/or websites specifically targeting a US audience. Has this changed?

Adbrite earns great for me. You need some decent traffic though.

Here is my earnings breakdown for the month:

Adsense - 33%
Text Links - 16%
Parking - 42%
CJ/Linkshare - 9%

I recommend alternative sources just for diversity. For instance, parked revenue is way down this month, but I'm up over last month due to adsense being way up. Parking still gets me my best RPM, but adsense is starting to close the gap.

whitebark: No it hasn't changed - you still need a business reg in the US to use YPN.

Kontera is a good performer in addition to Adsense. Ads can be placed on the same page too.

AdBrite has worked great for me in the past, at the time though i owned a website with a hell of a lot of traffic. I've recently tried using adtoll.com and they seem ok.
