Country: | StoryBids - Product Placement in User Generated Videos Storybids opened the doors today with a unique idea. It's basically paid product placement but instead of working with the studios, they're working with the average home user or small webseries producer. The power of viral video can't be denied and with webseries taking off as well, it's a great place for advertisers to hawk their wares. What do you think? Is it too early in the game to make money with brand integration in user generated videos - or could this be a profitable way to make money on the web? |

Country: | It seems like a pretty interesting concept. Getting someone to go out and do a project with your product might work but the high end creator demands money for that and the low end is worthless to spend money on. The high end people are really too busy to take interest in this kind of stuff. Placing product in video only needs green screen capabilities which are cheap. We did Humphrey Bogart and replaced the Camels with Marlboro once. For online tv we are working on overlays to place ads into the video streams. To get quantity he needs the websites to insert things not the individual user video. A user will not get the exposure needed for any return on an investment. How does a site come out with instant 4 page rank?
