CJ.com
(Commission Junction)
I never looked into their financial area but they do have a lot of programs.

For europeans look here: http://www.click2sell.eu/
They pay with PayPal also.
I have heard some bad things about CJ, payouts not made on time, revenue crashing, etc. but this was a few years ago, maybe someone with some recent experience can chime in...
Unfortunately Carter, the particular domain I am going to be using will be primarily US based, therefore I want to target US visitors, although I do not doubt I will have a nice amount of foreign traffic as well.
Thank you for the link though!
No problem

What geographical region do you want this for?
Finance industry has different regulations everywhere, and therefore is run through different companies in different ways.
CJ really sucks.
If your traffic isnt up to their standards, they cancel your account without notice and do not pay you what you have earned. Trust me, I have had this happen to me 3 different times with them owing me over $200.
To make it clear, CJ.com (Commission Junction) sucks and they do not pay.
Linkshare.com is similar to CJ, lots of companies to choose from.
Sorry to hear CJ is bad, I just re-started with them last year, they owe me a payment now so I'll see how it goes. It's unfortunate, because they handle the affiliate programs of many top companies.

Go with Amazon.
Put in widgets for books and magazines on financial, investing, etc.
You can let books auto load or hand select ones.
Their Carousel Widgets are awesome.
I was getting good traffic. Unfortunately, I have been dumped by Amazon because the state of NC wanted Amazon to withhold state taxes and Amazon refused to do it.
I am actually considering registering a Virginia PO or street address to get around this. I just have to figure out if the cost of doing such is worth the payout.
I was doing pretty good with Amazon.
The advantage I see with amazon over CJ and other affiliates:
SPAMMED TO HELL AND BACK! by all the updates, removals, additions, deletions from CJ and LinkShare.
You are either approved or not approved by Amazon, none of these individual sites PENDING.
Once approved, you are approved. You can use all their tools and sell all the products the site carries.
Personally, I see CJ and others as requiring too much space and attention for a very little return. On my sites, I would much rather give that space over to adsense or ads (links) of my choosing.
No, Amazon truly is a terrible program for an affiliate that's actively wanting to make money.
1 day cookies that only work if a customer buys directly, and doesn't browse around, etc.
CJ's good, but you need consistent volume... Which you're not going to have as a type-in traffic provider.
If you want to do physical products. then Linkshare, Shareasale or Clixgalore.
If you're doing more leadgen based stuff, then there are other providers, like Lidango, Neverblue, etc.
If you are looking to get into insurance affiliate, InsuranceAgents.com has a great affiliate program - http://www.insuranceagents.com/affiliate-program/
Ooops! link doesn't work.
Anyways don't forget ClickBank dot com
