I am starting up another blog-based site and I was just wondering if anyone could share some tips or success stories for ad placement on a blog? I am going to use a custom WordPress template...
Thanks!

Run the ads down the upper right side of the page, 120x600 size. Make it blend in with your page. The revenue all depends on traffic and subject matter. You can put up to three adsense banners on one page, so use the max. also one on the bottom of the page, 468x60, because people usually scroll down to the bottom to see what's there.

You need lots of traffic and the right niches for adsense revenues. Clickthrough rate and revenues tends to go down these days.
