AdSense revenues going... up?

This is odd - I'm about to have my best month (March 2009) in a very long time.

I know I don't have high paying keywords but the sites are fun. Clicks on average paid $0.01 to $0.25. Nothing huge and would only come close to paying for the reg fees but this month my clicks are $0.30 and up. Yesterday I even had one click that paid $2.33!

I'm not complaining! This month alone may pay some reg fees alone (with the rest of the year just profit!).

I too have noticed my Adsense earnings have been decent this month also. Adsense has been better for me since the beginning of this year. My stats for since the beginning of Feb are here - it's not much but it's still better than nothing!

Feb total:
content $8.42
domains $1.89

March so far:
content $9.52
domains $1.69

any one else seeing these kind of results?

Maybe better quality ads since many advertisers are getting with the program? I'm sure AdSense can be an extremely cheap way of advertising considering the number of people who can see them though the feeds?

Last week I heard someone explain that in an economic crisis it's normal to see the numbers of employees going down and the marketing budgets going up.

My company did that - a week after they announced 8,000 layoffs they shelled out over $3,000,000 for a Superbowl ad.
