Lets say that Google decides to ban site B from Google Adsense. Does Google ban your account completely or just ads from site B? The reason I ask is because I have a Yahoo .ca typo (easy to find if you do a search) and I wanted to know if Google would allow it if I ran ads on it.
Thanks in advance.![]()

I have tried in my early days that they just disabled ads for a specific domain.

If the domain has been banned from a previous owner, you should be able to get in touch with Google to revoke the ban.
It depends on the situation.
They can either ban your domain, which has violated the TOS or they can choose to ban your account. My theory is that it depends on the extent of the violation and your other sites in your account.

Thanks for the responses. The name I had in question has never had Google ads on there before BUT it is a Yahoo .ca typo so I was wondering if Google would allow their ads on a Yahoo typo. I didn't want to risk losing my whole account over one name. But if they just banned ads from that name in particular than I am in luck. If it came down to that.
Why you don't just ask them?
google does not allow yahoo typos
I got one domain banned.
My acct. still active along with all other domains/sites.
Google does not allow ads on sites that infringe trademarks. Is a typo trademark infringement? I don't think so, but I'm not a lawyer. My opinion is, if you have any doubts about whether you're violating Google's TOS, then don't do it. The possibility of having your account banned (however remote) is not worth it. But then, I make a living off Adsense, so for me it's a critical issue.

Adsense is messed up they ban one of my flash arcade sites because one of the games was called hardcore mario, yeah like i was running a p0rn site!

It all depends on which TOS you break. If it is serious offense like clicking on your own ads, or inviting others to click, it is account ban... if you do small offense like placing ads near navigation links or placing images near ads etc.. it is a domain ban!
Again it depends on Google.. if you are repeated offender again you can get banned for your account..
Play safe ;-)
