It can take a few days for the site to get indexed and proper ads to pop up.
It'll try to pull keywords from the content on the site (maybe even the domain) and pull ads relevant to them.

My site is called peopleplus. It's a site I have targeted for job hunters. I bought one of the DNForum templates and gave it keywords such as "Jobs, Employment, Occupation, Work..."
The Ads I'm getting from Google seem to be targeted to my URL, specifically it's placing ads for People Finders and People Search related stuff.
How can I change the ads?
Thanks

Hi Dragger, thanks for responding. I think I have fixed this, but perhaps you can tell me if I have done something wrong.
I had set my publisher ID on the DNForum template to exactly what it was showing in my adsense account ie: ca-pub-15xxx...... Now I just took out the ca- and made it just pub-15xxx... As soon as I did that, the correct ads popped into my site.
Is it ok to use "pub-15xxxxxxx..." instead of the ca-pub-15xxxxxxxx......? If I had left it with the ca- in, maybe it would have reindexed later as you suggested??
thanks...
I would be careful about changing the publisher number, as you don't want to violate Goog's TOS. They don't like it when you mess with the code. Try changing it back, and see if the relevant ads still show up.
