Setting up YouTube adsense?

Ok, I have linked my youtube account to my adsense account but now I still can't create a youtube ad player. I sign in to both adsense and youtube, then I goto the "my account" link at youtube. I click on "Create Ad Player" and get taken to the same page everytume no matter what I do. At the bottom of the page it has two links. They are to create a new account with adsense and the other says somethine like "click here if you already have an adsense account", I click there and get sent to my adsense home page.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

I signed up today with no problem - but you are right - what a waste of time. It should have been automatically added to your account after agreeing to the terms of service. Having to go off-site to sign up with youtube was a pain in the arse and an unneeded step imo.

I thought this was still being beta tested by US users only? It appeared in my account this afternoon. Is anyone using this and what are the returns like? Their referral ads turned out to be a big bust...

Got one set up, but already had a YouTube account. Probably better to set up a Youtube account first if you don't have one, then go into adsense and follow the sign up to link accounts. Will be interested in anyone's results with this, and tips.

using mine more to add to the user experience than make money - player is so bulky i've got it in the footer. probably could make more if i moved it higher up.

Thanks for the feedback gawnd. What is the ctr with other adsense units on that website if you can divulge it?
