Question Will this ezinearticles ad placement violate Google adsense's TOS?

I just come across the site ezinearticles.com which I think is a pretty well known site. Please take a look at this UR:

http://ezinearticles.com/index.php?c...e:Taxes-Income

Do you see the way that they have changed the Google ads? I have taken a quick look at the source code that they seem to alter the format of the google ad. This definitely blends into the page much nicely. Only question is that, if this will get banned by google? I never see any option from google adsense to create such layout. Did I miss something here? Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

Regards,

Kawing

I feel like the ads are customized it in a way (same color links as normal links) that definitely gets visitors to click them without knowing it. But, I think ezinearticles is clever in using a DIFFERENT font which helps support their case (of a potential adsense violation) because their ads are visually DIFFERENT from site content.

Very tricky... it's probably best to contact a rep and ask about that particular "technique"

Actually I have contacted Google Adsense to see if this is legal or not. I will keep it posted here.

well , If any site is having at least 2.000.000 visitors per month , it gets a separate section in google adsense account panel, to modify the ad source code as fully customized way .

and also check the adsense code carefuly on that page . It has an extra variable called "google_hints " which is not available in normal account codes .

hope this helps ...
