    Custom CMS

Please have a look at this custom CMS I had built and let me know what you think.

It is to manage a network of domains in the same vertical designed for adsense revenue.

A layout change effects all sites and can be implemented very easily.

    Thanks in advance

Honestly, I think you risk offending your targeted reader. Those pictures at the top immediately seem exploitive rather than informative. Unless, you are targeting more of the curious onlooker - I'd say this is the wrong approach.

My assumption is that anyone looking for those kind of pics would simply type in 'anorexic pictures' or something else...of course, this assumption could be wrong. But that is my opinion - that you should at least change the top.

Thanks for the input, the only pics are in the header and index page, the rest are articles but I take the point.

    Anyone else share MacyT's view?

Yeah, I should have said the rest looks good as well. My point really was that a visitor may not stick around long enough to peruse the articles (or click on ads) if they think it isn't a serious site. That was all.

Well, I think Google might ban your adsense account since your are showing rated R pic... definitely should change the header images.... or should I say... put some cloths on....

    Looks good!
I agree with MacyT. I think the images are a bit over the top.
Maybe an internal page or section with some photos showing the effects of anorexia??
Just an idea but in terms of the CMS it is nice.
    Taking offers on:

Scary photos - but I guess the point is made.

I like the look and layout of the site - I might be interested myself in a copy of the cms if you are selling the script and the price is right.

    All the best,

    Frank

I don't understand the above discussion. I would characterize this as a minisite engine at best.

I am not really using the system to its full potential but is a CMS in that content can be managed, edited, added for all of the sites from 1 admin interface, design and layout can also be administrated from the same interface.

Quite a few changes have been made in the last month or so from a design perspective and need to work on the traffic side now.

I put up a simple site at abouthealth.co.za which is independent of the CMS to try to generate more traffic.

    Thanks again for the input
