    Displaying posts on a static page - possible?

    I have a WP site that the front page is a static page. Is it possible to display maybe 2-3 latest entries at the bottom of the page (above comments - as if it was part of the content) or would it be easier to edit the main page PHP file and show the static content?

    If you were to do this, it seems to me that it would no longer be a static page

    Haven't looked at wordpress in a long time, so not sure what code you would need, but couldn't you just do an include to bring it in?
