I've upgraded, i have an issue with my navbar on the arras theme. I will look into it soon.

I did upgrade, but since I had a an old version, I had to do it manually. Try it it looks great, a major improvement, IMHO.

Is that why I am seeing the dashboard looking entirely different?

If so, it appears some of my pages autoupdated.

Wasn't sure what was wrong.

Same theme, mine disappeared too after the upgrade. Looked but couldn't find a way to get it back. They're usually good about updating their theme, so they should have something out within the week. Other than that, updates went good.

Updated a few dozen sites to 3.0 (and some are on the 3.1-alpha stream) and 95% of them were automatic... automatic updates of WP - and WP plugins is such a massive timesaver. I'm working on a shell script to do autoupdate to multiple sites in one go.

WordPress rocks - it's safe to say that it's now a full fledged CMS.

With the Arras theme and a couple of others I'm using, with this new Wordpress you have to go to Appearance, then Menus. Create a Menu, add what you normally had, click Save. And it'll be back.

I'm loving 3.0. They did a good job taking out some of the tedious tasks.

Actually, we've always loved WordPress - especially since 2.7+ and it's been totally rocking since 2.9... great code-base, framework (batch management of theme and plugin upgrades, anyone)?

It is one of the greatest open-source projects of our time. (i.e. the last 5 years)
