YouTube.com is ranked No. 3 in the world for traffic. With such a humongous market, it is surprising how not many people are taking advantage of this. However, SoyBe.com, my script-selling business, completely utilizes this fact and sells a product that makes the most out of the billions of unique visitors Youtube receives on a regular baises. This is the primary selling-point of my business' success.

About the Business

SoyBe.com is a hybrid. The SoyBe.com home page is a live version of the script, and the sales page is located here (linked from nav bar). Apart from the obvious script-selling model, I also have an upsell set up for my web Hosting company (50% off coupon - appealing because my server is already set up with all script requirements). Revenue coming from the upsell was not accounted towards the monthly revenue of this business that I've provided stats for.

The SoyBe.com script has been advertised ONLY on web forums at the moment, including (but not limited to) *********.com, NamePros.com, TalkFreelance.com, DNForum.com, and just recently WarriorForum.com - 2-3 others.

What Does The Script Do?

SoyBe Youtube Video Converter is a new online script that utilizes Youtube.com's insane amount of traffic, to generate money for you, while you sleep. Depending on the URL the user enters, this script will automatically take the youtube video selected, convert it to whatever format you choose (mp3 audio or mp4, mov, mpeg, avi video), and create a download link for the user to download onto his/her computer. All handled with ajax to minimize bandwidth consumption and maximize speed.

Why Am I Selling?

Simple. I'm in the middle of Justin Brooke's Website Flipping Masters contest (partnered with *********) . Basically, it's a contest where I earn points by selling off websites, with speed, security, amount, etc in account. In addition, I am also in the process of re-launching one of my major projects, so I have little to no time to expand this business.

Traffic Details

Site has not been advertised - currently receives around 70-75 unique visitors per day, and surprisingly approximately 3,442 page views per day.

Majority of traffic is either coming from forum listings, or direct type-ins/bookmarks.

Revenue Details

This website was created in the later parts of May. However, the sale of the SoyBe Youtube Video Conversion script started just 9 days prior to this listing. Around 4 days ago, I postponed all sales coming in from the forums for 3-3.5 days, and no orders came in during this time. So this script has been up for sale for a total of 6 full days.

During these 6 days (or 5.5 days), a total of $413.45 or 30 sales (at time of post) were made. If we do the math, that comes to approximately $2,067.30+/month or $68.91+/day.

All sales were made through promotion on web forums mentioned above, with the exception of one, which was made directly on the website itself at the full price of $24.95. It is advertised throughout the forums at $14.95 per single domain license and on two forums, $9.95/license. No other type of promotion was involved.

This script has also been submitted manually to 8 of the largest script databases on the net just recently. So far, only hotscripts.com has approved my application and has listed the script in their database (see here).

PS, one refund was given, which was not added into equation above. User paid $34.95 for script + installation service, but did not have a hosting account which in turn resulted in a refund.
