I Bought this site about a year ago, at that time the site was rebuilding after loosing the database w/o a backup. just a little over a year ago (use wayback) you can see the site was HUGE. within the last year, you can see the site has been on track to rebuild itself, it already has over 20,000 members in only a years time. its coming up on 100k post in that time, and the gallery is a HUGE success. I myself am not big into anime, and have never been good at making huge portals. I want to pass the torch onto someone else, and If that person knows what they are doing, they can turn this into a HUGE site.

and little comes comes china or other Asian countries, you can use this quality traffic and build on it.
The site does come with the vb license and the photopost license.
I will sell this site for $9,000 and I am open to offers for a week or two, I am in no hurry and would like to get my asking price. This is a high quality long term site, please check back links, the way back machine, and so on, you will see what I mean. About 5 months ago it was listed in the top 100 for the search term “anime” its slipped some, but with some good SEO you can get this site booming. last month was $8x and this month is at $3x cia google adsense. last month had over 600k impressions. I am sure google adsense banner at the top isn't the best for this site, tribal fusion, or the forum mod to put google ads within the messages. something like a pay gallery, who knows, as you can see I am not the best when it comes to marketing / getting the worth out of the site. for the past 2 months I haven't done much of anything to the site, other than update to the newest vb and newest photopost.
I am sure I am going to get "how can you ask 9k for a site making under 100$ a month" if you are going to ask the question, please keep it to your self, surely the site isn't for you. But I am sure someone will spot the gem here. Thanks for looking!

How many posts is the forum getting per day, on average?
Do you pay any money to advertise the site, or to anybody to run it for you?
Also, several years ago the site had over 10000 wallpapers, fan art, etc..
in gallery. Is all that still there, or was that lost when the database was lost?

I have never paid for any traffic / advertising for this site. I also do not pay anyone to run the site, the mods / jr admins are good people and love anime. No, those 10k walls are gone, however what you see in the photo gallery is just under a years worth of walls / pics, look at how fast its growing.

I will check the statistics on that and let you know. The good thing is the post count is real, we don't let people start more than 3 topics a day and the mods are out / lock junk topics quick. this isn't one of those "bump me until we reach 10k replies" type of site.
someone also pmed / asked about where its hosted / what does it cost. right now I have it on my spair linux server, and you can see it loads / runs fine, however its a dual 2.8ghz w/ lots of ram and raid 5, with only a few sites on it. the site uses over 100gb of xfers a month, which is nothing, you can pretty much get any dedicated server. I might be willing to contine Hosting it for a fee, that can be talked about after the sale.

there have been a few low offers. I am still open, I could use the money for my new project. if any more info is require feel free to ask. I have over 270 feeback on ebay (7+ years now) and over 100 on paypal (5 years now) send over some decent offers and you might own a large site / forum. thanks again for looking!

I have had a few low ball offers. I am still open to offers and 9k was just a number that would make it an instant sale. if you have an offer over 4k send it over, you never know I just might take it. I have 270+ feedback on ebay and been a member for over 7 years, I also have been a member of paypal for over 5 years w/ over 100 feedback / xfers from verified users.

Looks like the high bidder / offer does not have the money, I am going to post this sale on two more webmaster sites, see how it goes, if nothing comes up by next weekend (my deadline for the project) I will end this / drop the sale of the site.
just a heads up, I have a new offer of $4k, and the site was posted on *********, I will be selling the site to the best offer by friday of this week. Sooner if someone is willing to buy it out right for $7,500

Okay, after 2 weeks of trying to decide if I am going through with this, the bill came for the cage at the data center I am getting, looks like there is no options I must sell this site soon. I will sell outright for $5,000 if sold within the next 2 days, if not I might have to get a quick loan. I played with the banner a bit and saw $1 more a day on adsense, I would also look into doing small memberships for the site, I think that will go over pretty good, like $2-5 a month and give a little more space in the gallery. The site also has enough traffic to get into the bigger adverting sites, which I hear does better than adsense on forums. I will continue Hosting the site until the first of Jan, which will give the new owner plenty of time to move the site. Let me know if you have any questions. thanks!
