CURRENT TRAFFIC:
The site averages about 1,000 unique visits and 12,500 pageviews per month recently... this is about 25% of the traffic the site had at it's peak back in 2005 and 2006.
HISTORY OF THE SITE:
This is a website that was founded in February of 2003 and has been online continously since then. Our first format was sort of a magazine with a message board area. The message boards were popular, the magazine was too much work to keep up with.
Eventually we turned it into a blog with the message boards still drawing most of the audience. Over time we continued to make changes and the audience would grow and shrink depending on current events and elections, etc.
A few months ago we scrapped the blog and the message boards crashed. We switched from a paid vB license back to phpBB. Unfortunately, the boards lost 100,000+ posts that had accumulated over the years.
Recently we used a Digg-clone script to try and turn the site into a conservative social news site. It's had some success, but we're just not bringing in enough traffic to keep the news fresh and I don't have the money to invest in really growing this project.
The message boards still has a core group of very loyal members who keep things alive, but it's not quite what it once was.
MORE DETAILS:
The domain is up for renewal at the end of January, it's hosted at GoDaddy. The site itself is hosted on a Site5 account that would be included as part of the sale. It's prepaid through the start of March if I remember correctly.
Payment will need to be made via PayPal.
It breaks my heart to sell this site, as it was the first taste of success I ever had online. But I would like to arrange for a sale fairly quickly as I have other projects which are demanding my attention... particularly my day job!

How much is the site earning from AdSense? Can you post screen shots? Do you have an asking price?

Site doesn't earn very much from AdSense right now, as I noted in the description the traffic isn't particularly huge at the moment.
Asking price is in the $700 range for the PR, age of the domain, the design work, and the existing userbase. This could be a great seed for a successful site, I think.
