I see lot of other stuff on sale (other than Pumps).
Aerrial - I haven't use an 866 number for a few years. I don't see one - Are you on the right site?
Not much, maybe 30 to 50 visitors each day. Some are direct type in's.do you get any search engine traffic at all for any product keywords?
With this site I didn't work to get the free advertisments in the search engine listings. I want it to be all paid ads - just like brick and mortar stores.
I have a limit of $20 per day on the Adwords account for this site. I am NOT running ads right now. My dealer who handles all the pump sales and customer service can only handle so many pumps per day. 1 or 2 is fine. The orders come in to the site and I just send them to her. That's all on my end. Sometimes, I will answer the phone. In the past I have set the phone number on the site to the dealers number and let them run it all.How much are you spending monthly to advertise?
Sometimes I sell the nursing bras or accessories, but the big earners are the pumps. I stopped selling the baby bedding sets over a year ago, but someone could start it up - This domain has a great deal of trust for most visitors.I see lot of other stuff on sale (other than Pumps).
ok HHH, here we go:
here is the page that has the phone number on it:
http://www.babiesusa.com/fiberfill.htm
you said you stopped selling bed stuff a year ago, but yet there is a link on every page to:
http://www.babiesusa.com/baby_bedding.asp
also, you stated "With this site I didn't work to get the free advertisments in the search engine listings. I want it to be all paid ads - just like brick and mortar stores."
That is the strangest thing I ever heard a webmaster say...lol
also, you state that your processor can only handle 1 or 2 sales per day. what happens if there are more? do you refuse them? this is also quite weird.
a lot of things you are saying really make very little sense, almost like you are not very familiar with the site. dont get me wrong, i am interested in the site, but right at this moment there is way too much strange phenomena that need to be explained....
also, the lack of google pr for a site this old is also very odd...

Aerrial -
The phone number is on a static page - it was left over from a long time ago where someone paid me to advertise on babiesusa. Thanks for pointing it out.
I did stop selling the baby bedding at least a year ago. So what if the pages are still up? Maybe someone else would like to start selling again and they wouldn't have to build everything from scratch. At the least, the site looks well rounded - marketing 101. Certainly, the current prices would scare off any bedding orders - no?
That's because I'm a businessman first - webmaster a distant second. What kind fool would base their entire business model around advertising welfare? If you want to have a long term business you must be able to survive by running paid ads - just like a real business. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of whoever is giving you the free Ads.That is the strangest thing I ever heard a webmaster say...lol
Correct, if there are too many orders - I turn off the ads. I used to have many dealers and I would pay well over $20 per day in Ads and make much more profit. I now have one good dealer, she is known in the industry and things work very smooth. If I turn on the Ads - the site makes money. Simple.also, you state that your processor can only handle 1 or 2 sales per day. what happens if there are more? do you refuse them? this is also quite weird.
I don't think your interested or you wouldn't be shitting on my thread in the open. Someone interested would PM their questions.i am interested in the site, but right at this moment there is way too much strange phenomena that need to be explained....
anyone here would say that I have valid questions and points. no need to get fired up. if you are a businessman, then you should easily understand that most people will not drop $8k for a business without asking valid questions. i own 3 different baby-related sites, and this site would go well with my genre, so yes I am/was interested.
Still too many different variables for me, but that doesnt mean others will feel the same way.
I dont make a habit of commenting on sites, especially those I am not interested in. Thanks for your time.
$8000 is not that much.will not drop $8k for a business without asking valid questions
I just don't believe you. If this site worked well with anything you have it would be a good buy - just because I call you out for crapping on a thread would make no difference.different baby-related sites, and this site would go well with my genre, so yes I am/was interested
Your dishonest. What variables? An out of date, single page, with a 2 year old phone number? Wow. Big deal. If you were concerned you would have PM'd me - not try to show you have big balls and no brain.Still too many different variables for me,
Right - your dishonesty shines through loud and clear. If your not interested, why bother commenting? Oh, yeah, you don't do that...I dont make a habit of commenting on sites, especially those I am not interested in
Oh well. Sale over. I'll keep the site. I have plenty of sites I can sell - this is just an easy $500 per month.
