    DVDSmiles.com (PR5) and SmilesPics.com (PR4)

    URLs: http://www.dvdsmiles.com and http://www.smilespics.com

    Age of site (months): 24

Avg. monthly pageviews: View my last 12 month's stats at http://www.dvdsmiles.com/Stats.zip

    Traffic details:

Listed in all major search engines. I was paying for advertising for a while, but I do not advertise any more and I am hitting about the same amount of traffic. View my stats above to see more details.

    Description:

I am selling my internet-based DVD slideshow and photo scanning business. I receive photo scanning and DVD slideshow orders through the website and customers send their prints in the mail to be scanned.

Included in the purchase price is a FotoFunnel print scanner (http://www.fotofunnel.com) which can scan about 375 prints an hour at 300dpi. I have pretty much designed the business around this scanner. Scanning 375 prints an hour at $0.35-$0.50 per print is a really high hourly rate. I have hired people to scan the pictures for me and kept the difference as income.

I will also include a Dell Dimension 4600 PC that will be completly set up to scan the pictures and create the photo CDs and slideshows. I have spent a lot of money on software which will be installed on the computer. Everything you need to create a photo CD or slideshow will be included on the computer.

DVDSmiles.com is almost completely automated to process these orders. It has been integrated with PayPal for payment processing. I am willing to spend extra time customizing the website to fit the buyer's needs.

Another website that is included in this sale is SmilesPics.com, which is an online gallery for orders placed through DVDSmiles.com.

I have a license agreement with Google to use their Picasa software to make my Photo CDs which really adds a professional feel to the finished product. I also have a bunch of other software that I use to make the slideshows from the scanned prints. All software the buyer needs to operate this business will be included in the sale.

All materials that I currently have, including DVD cases, labels, DVDs, shipping materials, etc. will also be included.

    My email address: pete@dvdsmiles.com

Price: $5,000 (willing to consider all fair offers) - basically just selling off the assets of the business.

    Google PageRank: DVDSmiles.com is PR5, SmilesPics.com is PR4

    Re: DVDSmiles.com (PR5) and SmilesPics.com

In your last post on DNForum back in July ( http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.ph...=DVDSmiles.com )

In which you stated that your "Avg. monthly revenue: $300 (with no advertising)".

Has the sites revenue changed in the last month? or is it still about $300.00.

Was the $300.00 a month after all expensives?

What is the month sales, and what expensises are there? Staff, Dvd's, Cases, Mailing, etc.

How many hour did you spend per month on the business to generate the $300.00?

    Thanks,
    Zaphrod

    Re: DVDSmiles.com (PR5) and SmilesPics.com

I thought that last post had been deleted. Whoops.

    Zaphrod,

The site's revenue has changed. I no longer have the time to run the website, so I am not currently taking new orders. This has not changed the amount of traffic I get, however. $300 a month was after all expenses. If you look on the website, all of the expenses are passed onto the consumer, such as dvd cases, labels, etc. I have not taken any revenue into consideration with my price above. I am just trying to sell the business for what I feel the assets are worth.

A $300 photo CD order would take about 4 hours to complete.
