I thought sites made for the single purpose of an ad wasn't allowed in google (sorry about my horrible wording) ?

They were not made for that purpose. These were all filll sites. Now I am just leaving the front pages as place holders while I sell the domains.
Google TOS does not allow Adsense on these kind of websites.
