http://www.HostingEveryone.com It offers free hosting to clients and allows the owner to post advertisements on their website. The script running this also allows users to upgrade to paid accounts which offer more bandwidth and disk space and allows mysql databases ect... Site currently has more than 18,000 clients and grows by about 25 a day. It is a PR4 ranked site on google, and all this without doing or spending anything in advertising. I planned to start a advertising push for the site but then found out my wife is pregnant with our first child and will not have time to manage it, plus could use the money since I got another mouth to feed on the way and will have to take some time off work. The site currently is hosted on a dedicated server with its own nameservers setup. You will need to find your own server as I am not giving up my server(s) with the sale. I would suggest and unmetered server with a large hdd or 2 hdds for plenty of file space for your clients.
HostingEveryone.com has over 814 sites that link or contain the term hostingeveryone.com on google alone. Most of the links come from clients or companies that have used hostingeveryone.com and like the services, thus world of mouth and postings by clients are leading to the high volume of traffic and new sign ups the site gets per day.

I also will have my programmers transfer all current free clients to your server so you can pick up where I am leaving off with this businsess.

I have not done anything in the last 3 - 6 months (july was last time I was working hard on the site) to make money off of the free hosting aspect. I have concentrated on other business stuff and my day job. That does not mean that I have neglected the free host in anyway (I have maintained, supported and worked on the business since it began...I have been answering emails ect this whole time)...I just have not done anything to make a profit off of the free host in the last several months. I have made a considerable residual income off of premium hosting in part by hostingeveryone.com's free hosting, as it attracts a lot (around 25 new sign ups a day on average) of customers that are obviously looking for hosting or access to some form of hosting...but my premium accounts are not for sale with this business, as that is a seperate hosting company at this point. That is part of why I am selling the free hosting company. People keep coming to the site and signing up, and I am looking for someone that would like to take this rare opportunity and turn it into a finely oiled business machine. With 610 new signups so far in december (an average of 27.7 a day) and over 18,000 members, this site deserves to have someone with time and motivation to make it grow and make it into the next geocities. With my first baby on the way, my time for this will decrease instead of increase.

Now...that being said...the scripts allow for paid upgrades and for free members to pay to become premium members...all of which is setup in the scripts. The scripts also allow for advertising to be displayed on ALL free members webpages. The scripts also allow free members instead of using a subdomain to use their own registered domain name (premium members have this option obviously too, so combined this with a domain resellers account or your own registrar equals even more profit. I intended to do this, but once again...no time and even less now. I have not set up any of the advertising functions of the script, so I can not provide info on that. The upgrade to premium hosting is setup and integrated with the free hosting script, but I have setup premium accounts by hadn on a different server rather than use this automatic function that comes with the script. And once again, I am not selling off any of my premium hosting clients with this sale or any of my servers.

This business will be a great way to sell advertising or use google adsense, as it wil generate income from others websites on your free accounts and when they come to login to your site ect...

This is a very rare opportunity to take over a very established free hosting company...and take it the places that I originally intended it to go.

The script is a 3rd party script that a license was purchased for this domain alone. The script was configured for this domain and allows for customization. My programmers have not done a lot to customize the script other than cosmetically.

I will have to get my programmers to get some of this data for you, I do appologize up front for that, as I do not have some of that info to provide you off hand. Here are the answers that I can provide:

We have in the past had a few issues with server loads, but resolved that by upgrading to a more powerful sever, with more ram, and moved some larger premium paying clients to a different server that I own.

No security issues with server, but my programmers have done a security overhaul on the box and secured it before we have moved accounts from old server to new server. Basically the box has any and all unneccessay ports closed and is setup to only allow the functions of this script access ect...

All server stuff goes goes through ev1servers.net. They provide the server to us ect...We have not had any problems with them capping or taking away our account or bandwidth. We have had months were we were at 1000gig and others were we very well exceed that amount pushing the 2000gig or a little more mark. 10tb should be more than enough...probably well over what you would need.

Bandwidth usage on the free accounts is limited. I probably should have mentioned that before. You will have the ability to limit the amount of bandwidth each user gets (along with the disk space, number of mysql db ect..) for each free account. When that user reaches that ammount, they will receive an email let them know, and their page wil display a user ovr bandwidth message when their webpage is accessed. The email they receive will let them know that they can upgrade to receive more bandwidth/disk space. This a way to get them to pay for a "premium" account. Once again, you can set these to whatever you want and make multiple "premium" upgrade packages for them to pay for.

I have had over 50 premium hosting accounts generated or taht have come directly from people who have signed up for free hosting. I have not done anything with advertising...which would be the other main form of revenue a site like this would produce. Once again, the premium accounts are not for sale with this site...just the over 18,000+ free accounts and the scripts for the free host and the domain name and design.

The expenses are going to be the server(s), which you will need to setup or find yourself as my server(s) are not for sale. I can recommend a couple places to find good servers, of course the company I use, but you are resposible for this. The other major expense would be advertising or marketing you would do for the site.
