Hello guys,

Time to put this one on the table and see what we come up with.

here is some info.

Jeeppages.com has been in operation for 9 months and has seen significant growth over that time. We serve as a Free jeep picture Hosting gallery. We have a dual purpose. Firstly we are building one
of the greatest resources for searching through pictures of everything
jeep and secondly we act as a free host for those that want to post
the wonderful pictures of their jeeps on forums around the web!

So now that you know a little about us, lets look at our stats!

Note- traffic has spiked over the past few days. Current stats for this month as of this posting are:

March numbers are as follows: 1687 uniques mtd 2429 visits mtd 33548 page views mtd so we are on course for a record month.

**Following info based on last 5 months averages**
As you can see we average ~2000 uniques per month with ~3200 visits per month. That 1.6 visits per unique!

These 2000 people viewed an average of ~38,000 page views per month.

Jeeppages.com will continue to grow on this base that we have built. We currently have 1651 jeep picture files posted by 286 users. As of current we are gaining around 20-30 users per month.

Most of our traffic comes from yahoo search engine and forums.

We have several forums that let us openly promote the site as it helps them with bandwidth costs. on top of that we have lots of board members that display our link in their sigs.

Jeeppages does not have any pr for those that are interested in just pr. This is due to the large number of inbound links jeeppages.com gained early. Google sandboxed it for several months. It has just now started deep crawling it again and actually showing it in index. We expect to gain pr the next pr update.

However on the other hand, Jeeppages.com has great presence in yahoo search engine.

Revenue:

This is a revenue generating site to be detailed below.

During the month of january we wanted to see what kind of sales we could get on links and banners.

We set out to sell 5 banners at $5 a month and to sell 10 text links at $5 per month.

We sold approximately (without digging through paypal to be exact) 6 text links and 4 banner ads which brought us to a grand total from links and ads of $50 for the month of january.

At this time we had google ads on the page as well but had not integrated them properly. Since we have done some tweaking , Last month google adsense generated $22 dollars and this month it has generated thus far (as of the 15th) around $11.80 so it on par for in excess of 20 dollars again.

So combining incomes we come to a happy figure of ~$70 per month that it is generating at current and rising with traffic increases.

Im sure someone with more experience monetizing websites can generate much more than we have.

Well I think that is all the pertinent information.

Also adsense does not reflect exact number of pageviews because if you look through the site it does not appear on every page (again a way you could better monetize the site)

http://www.jeeppages.com/webalizer/ as you know webalizer reports some things funny like pageviews... but the referall stats on there are close enough to the awstats for verification.

I dont like how webalizer reports so here are some copy pastes from awstats... will allow you to verify before finishing purchase of course.
