I expect april earnings to be substantially higher since traffic has increased over 50% in the last week.

I tried to sell this site last month. At that time "prior 30 days earnings" were in the $500 range. Earnings increased substantially since then.

Monthly page views: 1,539,276

Traffic details:
In march, i got 1,539,276 unique pageviews (as measured by statcounter.com). I got 108,991 unique visitors in that period of time.

Traffic continues to increase as well, as I add more server power. Traffic is up more than 50% in the last 2 weeks alone. As I moved some websites off the server that safeforwork is hosted on.

Description:
Website is a CGI proxy with quality inbound links and a good reputation. It makes money through a combination of google adsense and yieldmanager (rightmedia, bannerconnect) CPM advertising.

Serious buyers will want additional information (naturally). One source, is the thread I posted in trying to sell the site last month. Since that time, traffic and earnings have increased substantially (as predicted). Traffic has again skyrocketed (not reflected in march earnings), and therefore I would expect even better april earnings.

My thoughts:

CGIProxy 2.0.1 is free so I'm not seeing anything unique or special about your site, other than it's up and running and has an okay domain name.

I can understand why you might think well I've got all this web traffic isn't that worth something? Plus having the site up and running is worth something, but honestly I can't see anyone dropping 5k on this site.


Stating that YPN would make more money, well that's total speculation and has no basis.

The future is not certain nor clear if anonymous proxies will be viable in the future. Be stated another way your in a high risk business.

I can't help but smirk a wee bit when I visit your site as your allowing google to put ads on your site that directly compete with your own site, not very savvy.

A proxy site just sold for 6,000 on sp and it was making about as much as yours and they had 8,000,000 monthly page views, so imagine there is someone out there looking for sites like this. Good luck!

ah that might be part of the issue. previous 30 days i've gotten 2 million pageviews and made the same money. given a site with 8 million pageviews I could make back $6000 in little time (assuming I had the money for the server power needed)

apparently easter is a really popular holiday to take off work and school.

holidays and weekends are always significantly lower. I expect things to be back up on tuesday and wednesday.
