Selling established Paid forum posting - 13,000 posts/$130 per month - No.1 on Google

I am thinking of selling my established Paid forum posting site www.forumadvantage.com

Income Stats are as follows:

No. of jobs completed: Over 60 forums
No. of posts made: Over 13,000
Last 6 months revenue: $ 2200
Last 6 months expenses: $1400 (Paid to posters, hosting etc. No advertising expenses)
Last 6 months net profit: $ 800

Please PM me for website traffic stats.

Site gets all its traffic organically and is No. 1 for keyword 'paid forum posting' on Google and no. 2 for 'forum paid posting'. it is also on no. 3 in Yahoo for both keywords.

What the new owner will get:

1. Buyer will get the domain name and website at 'forumadvantage.com'. (Shifting of the site will have to be handled by the buyer).

2. Another forum posting site that I bought - 'Adhocpost.com'.

3. Buyer will get the 'premium domain' paidforumposting.com and the Vbulletin forum on it which houses our private writers forum with over 70 posters (only few are active posters).

4. Excel sheet of details of all the executed forum jobs will be given to the new owner.

5. Present ongoing jobs need over 1000 posts. All these will be passed on to the new owners (alongwith their payment).

6. Buyer will get 1 month of support from me to run the site (if needed).

Reason for selling:

A forum posting service is only as good as its posters (over 90% of the writers are US based). A few of my quality posters have left for some reason or the other. I dont have the time it takes to hire new posters (at times I have had to refund buyers due to lack of quality posters). I dont want the quality of our service and brand name to be affected due to this.

I dont have the time to keep up with existing posters job progress and keeping the customers updated.

I dont have the time to market this site on various forums like DP, SP etc.

And finally, I feel the time has come for me to move on as I dont have the enthusiasm for this business anymore.

If the new owner has the time to spare he can double the profits easily by getting more work and quality posters. To see what a site can do with advertising see this thread

Price:

I had bought this site for $1000 around 6 months back and spent on improvising it, SEO etc. I also bought the paidforumposting.com forum from the previous owner of Inb0x .com (another paid posting service) for $300 and also bought Adhocpost.com from Linda (lpstong) for $800 here.

So my total investment in this business has been $ 2500 approximately.

Minimum offer: $ 2000

Reserve price: $ 2500

BIN: $ 3500 (approx. 2 years profit)

Payment: Via Sedo.com's Escrow service or via Paypal (verified & reputed members only)

I reserve the right to withdraw this sale at any time. Sale posted on multiple forums.

Ps: I also own the premium domain 'forumbooster.com' which is for sale separetely. PM me if you are interested.

Too high expenses...

IMO, a forum with hired posters is not a true forum. A "sincere" forum must be run on truly interested users. Of course, I understand the logics behind increasing popularity thru some paid posts, but only at the very beginning...
