Well visits (53) are different than hits (500 avg.)
I'm not sure of the search criteria your using in google for the link, but I believe the proper method is:
link: thevoter.org
Which returns 285 links for me.
OK, here is the url which returns 21 link pop. It's always possibe I am using an incorrect method? Anyone else know?Originally Posted by gptpark

Trader,
That is how backlinks are usually measured (by the Googlebar).
Can anyone explain why such a wide variation in the 2 methods?Originally Posted by DigitalB

After some testiing that does not seem to be the explanation. It appears more likely one method uses a space and the other without a space, though not sure why that would make any difference, especially such a big difference?Originally Posted by stuff
the correct format is with no space.
You should look at using www. and also not.
Not everyone links to domains using the www., so you should consider that. In many cases, adding the two figures will give the most accurate result.
