Unique recipes site with massive potential (and content) for sale!

Hello all,

I have been working on a site for the last 2-3 months. I only started promoting it last week, and I am overwhelmed by the results. Unfortunately, I neither have the time nor the resources to manage a project with potential of this magnitude. So, I am looking for someone who recognizes the amazing potential this website offers, and can seriously exploit it. I am also looking to make some quick cash out of it.

The site is www.RecipesInc.com. It has massive content at over 5000 recipes! That is in one of the largest electronic databases of recipes on the internet today. There could have been more, but this is the maximum we could manage from 'open-source' or non-copyrighted sources; to avoid any legal problems (however unlikely it may be, it is better to be on the safe side). It has taken a lot of time and effort to get the database ready.

Please note however, that the design of this site is based on a template.

I think the massive content alone means this site has a high value. However, the potential is immense, and given that there is little competition; this can be turned into a very successful venture. The hard work has already been done. Here is why this site has so much potential:

I have recently started promoting it as mentioned above, starting this Saturday. I have done light promotion (AdWords and adding to free databases, mainly). The results ever since then till Friday (in 6 days):

I have had 683 unique visitors.

114 new members have registered. Thats a conversion rate of 17%! All these members are eligible for newletters.

6306 Pageviews and 25755 hits. That's 9.2 pageviews per visitor! Of course, it shows that visitors are using this site, and they stick around. Also, there have been 192 return visitors. So, obviously, the users like this site and keep returning back.

The most remarkable stat (I got this from AwStats, but I am not even sure if I can believe it!): ~10% of all visitors (that's 67, to be exact) have added the site to their Favorites/Bookmarks!

Although I cannot disclose exact AdSense earnings (it is against the Google TOS I agreed); all I can say is that it is at least 4-5 times more than I expected from 6306 pageviews. It is a substantial amount.

However, I think the most profitable way to run this site will be through affiliate programs for cookbooks, and offering premium subscriptions.

I am more than willing to send you screenshots of everything that has been claimed above, provided you are seriously interested.

I hope you understand the enormous potential of this site. If a reasonable deal is offered, I will be willing to part ways with RecipesInc.com. Please remember the massive content, potential, and of course, the amount of time and effort put into getting this site ready.

I am looking for something in the early $xxxx at least. Considering the amount of time and money I have spent on implementing the database, I would actually be making a loss with anything less.

I have received a lot of interest already. I will try to send all the screenshots, etc. as soon as possible. In the meantime, I would be grateful if you can PM me your e-mail, so that I can send the screenshots.

The site is constantly growing, and there are close to 140 members registered now.

So, another instance of the script may be for sale on eBay. (Basically, just like many forums use like vBulletin - the same concept). However, it is what is inside that really matters - the content. In this case, the content contains of 5000 recipes.

Small correction here, it is not an open source script. It is a licenced turnkey site. Do you have the licence to sell from them? Or are you not aware of what you really have?

That's pretty simple. Just look at the left navbar. Some quick addition and you would see that the tally is 5000+. If you want to see that there really are 5000 recipes, register, login, take your time, and browse through each of the 5000 recipes. For screenshots, please PM me your e-mail address.
