World War 2 site(s) for sale, PR5

Hello,

I am considering selling part or all of my World War 2 Network of Sites if the price is right of course. The main part of the sale relates to the forums but I will consider selling the entire package but only on sensible offers.

The sites do not generate any income, this group of sites were more personal than profitable for a change due to my own interests in the War, the google ads used on the forums are used to raise money for Veterans Charities. But of course you will have your own advertising ideas on the site.

I will try and keep this as short as possible

The forums have a pagerank of 5 and its around 69,000 on alexa.

The site was established at the end of February 2004, so thats just 5 months old at this point.

Domains included in the sale are:

ww2talk.com (Google Pagerank 5) @ Namecheap until Jan 2005
wwiiforum.com (Google Pagerank 4) @ Godaddy Until April 2005

Stats for the 5 months on the forums so far are:

Total Topics 743

For the month of July the totals visits were 9878 (still today to go)

The site comes with a registered Invision forum, Gallery License, and Live Chat license, all expire April 2005.

Although you dont need to have your invision board registered it worked out better to get the registration when going for the Gallery and Chat scripts.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to make it clear what was on offer, I have no fixed price I am looking for so please make your offers here.

The network is still developing and for that reason I wont sell for any low ball amount, given the steady but upwards growth the network is attracting.

If I have missed anything please let me know and ask away on anything your not clear on.

In any event a purchase will include all templates, psd files, banners, licences, domain transfers, and anything else required to operate the site.

Whoever gets these domains will have some work to do, but there is tremendous potential in taking what you have already started to another level. Fantastic niche idea!

Thanks Bigtrend, It is niche but also a subject of which I know a great deal, so the continued development for me is not difficult, I can fill those undeveloped sites with plenty of content, new skins for the forum site and so on.

Its just that old chestnut called "time"........

I suppose you dont really need a huge knowledge of WW2, its already happened and you cant change history, so the medals, naval sites etc, can be done with a bit of research.

Part of me hopes for a good price but on the other hand if I dont I will still be happy for trying and press on with the development.

Some time ago I applied localy to get a grant to develop the sites, well it came through today and I can pay someone to do a very professional design for the site.
