This directory is a bit more unique than others in that its specific to World War 2, there are only or 2 other sites like this and they are so old using manual html updates there is no real competition.
The site has run for a few years now on a not so good script so I have updated it using phpld 3 which is included in the sale and you will get access to the script and member forum, the cost of this is usually $35.
I have modified one of the existing scripts slightly to make it reflect ww2 more.
I accidently forgot to copy over the stats from an old server so the traffic is only viewable back to May 2008.
Basic stats are -
May - 485 Unique visitors and 732 total visits
June - 651 Unique visitors and 1014 total visits
July - 643 Unique visitors and 1476 total visits
August - 527 Unique visitors and 816 total visits (so far this month)
Just short of 700 links in there at the moment.
Currently getting a couple of signups a week. The categories need a bit of work on them to put the links in more appropriate locations, I allowed everyone to put their links in just a few like air, land and see for example but them added sub categories to make it easier to find what your looking for, involves about an hour of work even for non ww2 minded people.
PHPld 3 has a function that allows you to pull links from google, yahoo, dmoz and so on, so if you really want you can triple the numner of current sites in there.
Adsense is being used on the site, it is making money as I have an ad tracker installed, ad clicks from May to Aug were - 11, 13, 4, 10 of course I dont know how much that eqates to, I have $x,xxx going through my adsense account monthly from many sites.
Domain is regstered until 2009 with namecheap.
