    available .mobi

    Info for you domain name researchers and historians out there; the dot mobi whois shows these names as available:

    WARNER
    SMITH
    ZUNE (Zune is a place in or near Serbia)
    CLIT (Clit is a village in Romania)
    MALL
    BANKING
    ISLAM
    FIREFOX

    but I do not know about the future of .mobi.

    Has anyone been to a .mobi website on their cell phone yet?

    They are not registered yet, but will be after the beginnig of the registration. All of them are prerregistered by different registrars.

    Yes, they are all showing as unavailable now; but a few hours they showed as open.
