The general registration period of .kr (Republic of Korea) domain names started in mid April 2007 with pre-registration periods before.

I took part in it and registered a few domains.

There are several restrictions to register, e.g. it has to be done through a
Korean registrar (website language in Korean), payments (if by cc) by in Korea issued credit cards only.

So far it is hard for me to find discussion or more information about
.kr domain name trade or background in the web in English,
so I would like to start the first .kr thread on dnforum.com.

I would be great if this thread could become a meaningful source of
information on .kr names for the non-Korean speaking domainer community.
